A Smart Playlist to Keep Track of Audiobooks

If you rely on iPod to memorize the last played audiobook by pressing the pause button, you will be disappointed. Because whenever iPod is connected to computer, it gets reset and goes back to the main menu. This can be solved simply by creating a smart playlist on iTunes.

Create a smart playlist and name it “Listen in progress” with the following rules

1. Playlist is [your audio book].

2. Play count is 0, or other number depending on how many times you have played them before.

3. Make sure “Match all of the following rules” is checked.

Make it available to you iPod, then it's done. Simply go to the smart playlist and choose the song from the top, it will be the last played soundtrack.
